Training process has started

16 марта 2021 г.

The first step in training under the BSR LowTEMP 2.0 project took place on March 15, 2021.

A group of soon to be graduate students (4th year) the Physics technical Institute of PetrSU and the deputy director of the Institute  Mrs. Skorikova took part in a training trip to the Nature Reserve "Kivach". The main purpose of this trip was to get acquainted with modern technologies and equipment for generating heat and electricity using renewable energy sources.

In the framework of the previous project under the leadership of ANO EEC ("Green Solutions for Nature Protected Areas", KA5043 GreeSol), air-to-air heat pumps, a solar collector for hot water supply and a solar hybrid power plant (3 kW) were installed in the Reserve. Future engineers listened and watched with great interest, and had many questions for the leading Karelian expert in this field, Mr. Sergey Korolev. In addition, all participants were given a booklet about the results of the KA5043 project, which presents all the pilot projects on alternative energy in the Repuvlic of Karelia. In the future, within the framework of the LowTEMP 2.0 project, it is planned to hold a number of full-time and part-time (online) seminars on a variety of topics, but related specifically to the introduction of low-temperature heat supply. The partners of the LowTEMP project (the project was completed in December 2020) have prepared 26 training modules, 19 of which have already been translated into Russian and are now being adapted to Russian realities.
