Solar-heated water in Kuganavolok

For three days – from April 21 to April 23 in the village of Kuganavolok (NP Vodlozersky) quite a complex task was performed by a team of specialists from Petrozavodsk. They installed a solar collector and a boiler for heating water, which were purchased within the framework of KA5043 GreenSol project.

This system supplies the Visitor center of the National Park with hot water and heating even at sub-zero outdoor temperatures. An uninterruptible power supply unit with a 200A/h battery capacity was also installed for reliable operation. Thus, in the event of a short-term power outage, the equipment will continue to work.
