Second pilot project of LowTEMP in Petrozavodsk in going into the final stage

20 october 2020

At the first stage of the pilot project, 145 social facilities (schools, kindergartens, etc.) were surveyed. Based on the results of the first stage, together with the administration of the Petrozavodsk city district, 17 buildings were selected for a more detailed survey.

10 buildings out of 17 were selected for further work, since the implementation of measures to improve their energy efficiency is most feasible.

For ten objects, the following will be done:

  1. Development of design and estimate documentation for the reconstruction of individual heating points.
  2. Development of a system for automated monitoring and metering of heat consumption from the central heating system of the city with the possibility of hourly monitoring and data transmission, with display in a personal account on the Internet;
  3. Development of a system for automated control over the temperature of premises in buildings with the possibility of hourly monitoring and data transmission, with display in a personal account on the Internet;
  4. Development of methods for optimal management of heat energy consumption from the central heating system of the city with the maintenance of a set temperature in the premises of buildings using data from metering devices for heat consumption and indoor air temperature sensors.

At the moment, contractors are starting to work on the design and estimate documentation for the first object from the list, the results of the work will be ready in December 2020.
