Kick-off meeting in Joensuu

First meeting of the representatives of the Project Partners (2 Russian and 2 Finnish organizations) took place at the premises of Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE), Joensuu office, on 25 February 2013. 16 persons attended the meeting including 3 persons from Oulu office of ELY Keskus who were communicating via Internet video application. This working meeting was aimed at the following main topics for discussion:

1. Presentation and joint discussion of main objectives, outputs and activities of the project;
2. Exchange of opinions on the project activities implementation in order to make it more efficient,
3. Specification of responsibilities of Partners and their respective roles in the project implementation; 
4. Project time table detailed discussion and correction (Gantt chart changes).

As the conclusion of the meeting the new time table was approved, the decision to collect all relevant information about previous projects and investigations on the Ladoga Lake was made and preliminary plan for summer time activities on the lake was adopted. Also it was decided that one more Associate partner could be included in the list of project partners - ELY Keskus, Joensuu office.
