On February 13, 2020 a work meeting of ANO Energy Efficiency Centre and heads of committees for housing utilities and social development took place at Petrozavodsk City Administration. At the meeting ANO EEC presented the results of survey of heat supply systems of municipal social facilities such as kindergartens, schools, libraries and cultural institutions.

On January 29, 2020 a work meeting of project partners took place in the form of a video conference to discuss early version of software developed by Arbonaut Ltd.

In August 2019 project partners conducted joint water sampling aimed to record the quality of water before any renovation and construction activities in the framework of project KA6000 took place. SYKE environmental experts presented their findings.

By the end of 2020 a new water purification plant with an output of 8500 m3/day will be built in Sortavala as a part of the reconstruction of the pumping station of the 2 lift.

In November, four heat pumps were installed in Hossa Visitor Centre by Metsähallitus, Parks & Wildlife Finland.

As the project passed one-year anniversary in October 2019 we decided to tell to the public about the pilot objects already in operation in our nature protected areas (Vodlosersky NP, Kivach NR and Kostomukshsky NR) and in Finland (Ärjänsaari island).

Finnish and Russian experts worked together on October 22-23 in the framework of a work visit to Petrozavodsk and information seminar of project КА5016 EcoBridge.

Water management experts of Joensuu and Sortavala gathered together in Joensuu on 22nd of August for the seminar organized by Finnish Environment Institute.

An excursion on energy and waste management practices was organized on Ärjänsaari Island, Lake Oulujärvi, on 28 August 2019.
